Engineering Overview

ridR is a mobile-first public ride-booking web application engineered to simplify transportation logistics.

Built specifically for an intensive campus hackathon event, the application focuses heavily on user experience and accessible UI design. The standout feature is a custom-built interactive visual seat-mapping grid that allows passengers to see real-time availability and select their exact seats before booking.

Leveraging modern full-stack architecture, the platform ensures smooth state transitions and a responsive layout that feels native on mobile devices while remaining fully functional on desktop browsers.

Valentine's execution on the interactive seat-mapping grid was flawless. He translated complex requirements into a seamless, mobile-first user interface under tight deadlines.
